Upstairs at Midtown is a hidden gem in Downtown Charleston. It is perfect for the couple looking for an intimate wedding venue in the center of the city. It boasts an open-air deck for ceremonies and receptions, exposed brick, fireplace mantles and all details that make old Charleston buildings so charming. Camila with Lovecraft Events, the Smiths Do Love, and I have been wanting to collaborate on a photoshoot at this amazing space. We were hoping for a dreamy #bohemian #inspired #elopement. We can't imagine a more fun way to declare your wedding vows than on a rooftop in downtown Charleston, SC. That's exactly what Leanne and Shane did. Their Upstairs at Midtown wedding was filled with so much sweetness, happiness, and joy. They had the planning help of King Street Hospitality Group and the talented photographer, Lauren Jonas Photography to document their day. Leanne was absolutely breathtaking with her flower crown and blush, pink and white wedding bouquet. She also had a cutie flower girl who had her own flower crown. Every now and then we get the opportunity to work with creative individuals and dream up fantasies of what weddings could look like. We do this to inspire not only ourselves but to help show you the infinite possibilities you can dream for your big day.
